so here's my future-costume-making plan, which is specially dedicat to
who actually gave me the idea of posting such a plan xD
AND of course he kindly made that subsciption as a gift for me, which I'm making use of at the moment by editing this journal entry in ccs ... which is just INSANE @___@ xD but nevertheless I like the fact of havin an unique journal xD
so here we go^^
since I'll attend the german bookfair (leipzig) in march for two days, I planned for each day another cosplay:
Luke fon Fabre (with short hair) from Tales of the Abyss
and
Tenjou Utena in her duelist uniform from Shoujo Kakumei Utena
since I'm already working on the luke-costume I've made one picture of progress so far, if you're interested you can look at it ->
click herea friend of mine will cosplay the
long-hair-luke-version at the same time and we'll order our red wigs soon, which I'm RLY looking forward to
hair styling will be difficult for my part, though -__-
some friends of mine decided to do a gintama cosplay group in september this year and I joined taking over the part of
Sarutobi Ayame (the one who's talking in the beginning)we'll also have gintoki, hijikata, katsura AND ELIZABETH!!!! xD now THAT'll be awesome, too xDD
another costume for which I don't have a deadline yet, but I want to realise in the more or less near future:
Tear Grants also from tales of the abyss
actually in march 2009 - again bookfair in leipzig a group of cosplayers from my hometown wants to realize a sailor moon group cosplay project - I joined since I wanted to cosplay a sailor moon character anyway and if everyone manages to finish his chosen character's costume we'll be a rather big group at the convention - that'll be awesome :3
yeah, I think that's the rough plan for my next (actually third) year of cosplaying and I'm rly looking forward to producing this stuff, wearing it and having a lot of fun at conventions and fotoshoots with my dear friends

and I doubt that there are any stores here in germany selling (real) cosplay costumes. it's still a hobby over here and thus very non-commercial.
